Israel is a mobile strategist with SapientNitro, a management consulting and creative agency that delivers multi-channel marketing and commerce solutions to its clients. Israel has spent his professional life in high tech, with companies such as BellSouth, AT&T Mobility, Incanta, Nortel, and Scientific Atlanta. Most recently, he led Home Depot's mobile consumer product strategy. Israel earned a Bachelors in Economics and International Studies from Emory University, a Master of Science from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from the University of Michigan. Israel is a native of Atlanta, and a product of the Dekalb County public school system. He has lived abroad three times in his life, including one year as a Japanese English Teacher in Kagoshima prefecture, Georgia's sister state in Japan. He and his wife, Joanna, have two children and reside in Atlanta.
